Savoca Joins Epic

EPIC SETS SALES: Veteran label exec Julia Savoca has been named SVP Sales for L.A. Reid’s Epic Records by SME EVP Sales & Distribution Darren Stupak and Epic GM/CFO Lynn Hazan. The N.Y.-based Savoca will oversee all aspects of sales for the label, working closely with Lynn and Epic's senior management team, reporting directly to Darren as a member of the SME sales management team. She will spearhead the label’s initiatives in sales and catalog exploitation by expanding non-traditional and new business initiatives, in addition to managing relationships with retail partners. She was most recently VP Sales for RCA Records. Previously, she served as VP Sales for Jive Records since 2005, joining the label in 1994 as Regional Mgr. Sales & Marketing, West Coast. Prior to that, she held various roles for RCA in N.Y., L.A. and Dallas as well as for BMG in Boston.
