Zierler upped at INgrooves

INWARD & UPWARD FOR ZIERLER: Amid speculation that INgrooves is in serious negotiations with UMG to buy Fontana, the S.F.-based company has announced the promotion of Dave Zierler to the post of President. “Since Dave joined INgrooves in 2008, his leadership has been instrumental in growing our business and attracting top tier clients as we’ve continued to expand and refine our global operations” said Robb McDaniels, the company’s founder/ CEO. “We look forward to what Dave and his team will continue to accomplish as we navigate an ever-changing dynamic music marketplace.” Said Zierler, “As we celebrate INgrooves’ 10th anniversary, we look forward to providing continued first-class service and creating even more opportunities for our label partners to manage and grow their business.” Zierler joined INgrooves as EVP/GM in 2008. Previously he was VP of Business Development and Finance for Fontana, where he’d been since 2004. Prior to that, he served as the Director of Business Analysis for UMGD. He’s a Villanova Wildcat who enjoys Philly cheese steaks and Hall & Oates. (2/24a)
