Goldstuck's TouchTunes gets Beatles albums

CHARLES, THE FIFTH BEATLE: TouchTunes Interactive Networks, which bills itself as the largest out-of-home entertainment network in North America, has made a deal with Apple Corps and EMI that will put the entire Beatles catalog in the company’s 50k+ digital jukeboxes. TouchTunes, it turns out, is headed by Charles Goldstuck, onetime President/COO of BMG, where he was Clive Davis’ right-hand man. "It is a privilege to partner with EMI and Apple Corps Ltd. to make available the sound recordings of the most celebrated band of all time," said Goldstuck. "The important addition of The Beatles to our network represents a milestone, not only for our company but for our industry." EMI topper Roger Faxon prepared a quote as well. "We are very pleased to make this iconic catalog available on TouchTunes," he said. "TouchTunes has been a great partner of ours, and their network offers a unique listening experience for fans to enjoy the incredible music of The Beatles together." (3/14a)
