New X Factor Host?
X MARKS ITS SPOT: See, it pays to be George Clooney’s girlfriend. The N.Y. Post’s always reliable Page Six reports that Stacy Keibler is in talks to join The X Factor as a co-host, as negotiations continue with Britney Spears to be a judge on the upcoming season. Spears is apparently balking at the show’s $10 million offer, and holding out for $20 million. Producers are still searching for two stars to fill the vacant seats left by the departure of Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul, and two hosts to replace Steve Jones. Glee star Darren Criss was reportedly offered but declined the hosting job because of his busy schedule. Auditions are already under way for Season 2, but the start date has not been announced.
