Duff's book in paperback
APPETITE FOR CONSTRUCTION: And speaking of Guns N’ Roses, the paperback edition of Duff McKagan’s bestseller, It’s So Easy (and other lies) has just come out, just weeks before GNR’s April 14 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. On the eve of the ceremony, McKagan will do what’s billed as a book reading/punk revue at the House of Blues in Cleveland. “It’s a 3D version of the book,” he says of the show. “It incorporates pictures and video, and I’ll have pedal steel and mandolin players behind me while I read, all of which helps to set a mood and bring the book to life.” And this Saturday, the L.A. homeboy will do a signing at Book Soup on the Sunset Strip, where his former band spent a good deal of time and did a considerable amount of damage.
