98 Degrees reunion

BOY-BANDWAGON GAINS SPEED: Presumably inspired by the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block reunions, as well as the heat being generated by neo-boy bands One Direction, The Wanted and Big Time Rush, 98 Degrees is reuniting for the first time since their 2002 split, RumorFix reported. Nick Lachey, Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons and Justin Jeffre are set to go on a 15-city tour this summer, according to a source close to the band. Rumors of a reunion tour began Wednesday night when the band’s website was updated for the first time in a decade—revealing a new design and logo, closely followed by tweets from Nick Lachey and Timmons all but confirming the hookup. Expect a formal announcement in a week or so. The group sold more than 10 million albums worldwide. (3/30a)
