That Noble Fury Go Trunk-to-Trunk with Coldplay

PICK YOUR PACHYDERM: We knew elephants in music videos were popular, but this is ridiculous. No sooner did indie art-rock band That Noble Fury, composed of Johns Hopkins grads Anthony Blaha and Tom Fellows, finish the clip for their debut single, “My Elephant,” they discovered another band had released its own similarly themed vid for “Paradise.” “It was heartbreaking,” Tom says. “Our elephant felt really overshadowed. He didn’t touch his peanuts for days.” The band’s self-titled album comes out May 1. Decide for yourself, which came first, the elephant or the trunk. (4/4p)
