Beach Boys start tour

DO IT AGAIN: The Beach Boys kicked off their 50th anniversary tour Tuesday night in Tucson, where they debuted their newly minted single "That's Why God Made the Radio." The song begins: "Tuning in the latest star/from the dashboard of my car/cruisin' at 7/ pushbutton heaven/capturing memories from afar/in my car." The chorus goes: "That's why God made the radio/so tune right in everywhere you go/He waved His hand/gave us rock 'n’ roll/the soundtrack of falling in love/That's why God made the radio." The reunited group’s studio album hits on June 5. (4/26a)
