Dick Wingate Joins DEV

GONE WITH THE WINGATE: Industry vet Dick Wingate has joined Digital Entertainment Ventures, the early stage capital firm run by former MediaNet and The Box CEO Alan McGlade in a principal role with the company’s consulting arm. Wingate most recently served as GM, East Coast Business Development, for TAG Strategic, a digital entertainment consultancy, providing business development, content licensing, strategic partner and distribution strategy. He helped pioneer the digital music business during his years as SVP, Content Development, at Liquid Audio, while holding senior positions at several major record labels including Arista, Polygram, Epic and Columbia.
