Horowitz, Geller shot

ZACH’S PACK SACKED: Another shoe has dropped in the ongoing drama surrounding Zach Horovitz. Close on the heels of Horowitz’s “demotion” from company President/COO to the chairmanship of UMPG (which was named BMI Pop Publisher of the Year earlier this week) comes word of an outpouring of animosity directed at Horowitz and his crew, as both CFO Chuck Ciongoli and SVP Legal Affairs Harvey Geller were unceremoniously shown the door. We’re hearing that lawyers who’d had dealings with Geller aren’t exactly broken up about his ouster. Hard to believe the bile had risen to this level for Horowitz and his henchmen, but that appears to be the case. (5/21a)
