Conway out at BMG

CONWAY BUSTS OUT: Lionel Conway is leaving his post as EVP Creative West Coast for BMG Chrysalis as of June 1. The well-liked English expat, who founded and ran Island Publishing for 21 years, later did stints as president of Maverick Music, Mosaic and Stage Three, which was acquired by BMG in 2010. He essentially replaced Kenny MacPherson when the latter left the company last summer, took on the added responsibility of Bug Music following that acquisition and was elevated to EVP earlier this year.
