Kanye G.O.O.D. Music compiliation coming 8/7

G.O.O.D. NEWS: Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music compilation Cruel Summer (nope, it’s not a Yeezy solo LP) finally has a planned street date of Aug. 7, Rollingstone.com reported, citing an interview Pusha-T gave on Hot 97 with Funkmaster Flex Wednesday night. The album shares a title with West's recent "seven-screen experience" film/art installation starring Kid Cudi, which debuted recently at Cannes. The film reportedly featured music that would appear on the album of the same name, and it reportedly had people chair-dancing during the premiere. Frank Ocean, Jay Electronica, Big Sean and more are all set to appear on the album. West, Pusha-T, Big Sean and 2 Chainz recently assembled for the video for "Mercy," the first taste of the record, which was released back in April. In the meantime, most of the G.O.O.D. Music posse continue to work on their own projects: West recently released "Way Too Cold" (originally "Theraflu"), which will appear on DJ Khaled's upcoming record, and Pusha-T is prepping for the release of his next project, which will include "Exodus 23:1." Pusha-T also told Flex during their chat that fans can expect a new Clipse album in the future. (6/22a)
