Jagger meets with Universal label heads
TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE: On the 50th anniversary of their very first performance (see 7/11 item below), the Rolling Stones appear to be in reactivation mode. Mick Jagger is said to be meeting with various label heads inside UMG U.S. about the release of new music around the marketing of the half-century anni; their previous studio album was 2005’s A Bigger Bang, the last release under the EMI deal.
