Frank Ocean to Debut #2

MORE FRANK TALK: Anticipation is building for Def Jam/IDJ R&B phenom Frank Ocean’s show tomorrow night at L.A.’s Wiltern, which is expected to draw a who’s-who of industry types anxious to check on the fast-rising star. His album, Channel Orange, now available as an iTunes exclusive, will debut at #2 tomorrow on the HITS sales tally, behind Zac Brown Band, with between 125-135k, which is precisely where it sits on the iTunes chart right now. The physical version of the album officially hits tomorrow, but is reportedly already available at some stores. Because of its exclusive digital window at Apple, Target will not be carrying the release. See CNN’s Showbiz Tonight report below for more on the Ocean phenomenon. (7/16p)
