VOTE EARLY AND OFTEN: Kudos to CBS Grammy telecast executive producer Ken Ehrlich and his production team for grabbing six Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Special Class Program, with nods in Art Direction, Directing (Louis J. Horvitz), Lighting Design/Direction, Sound Mixing and Technical Direction, Camerawork and Video Control. It’s an unprecedented showing for this music-TV crossover and here’s hoping members of the television academy who are also fans of the record industry can take the phrase “For Your Consideration” seriously.
