New Opening Act on E! Tonight

MORE OPENING ACT: E!’s Opening Act, the music reality show created by EA’s Steve Schnur with American Idol executive producer Nigel Lythgoe, returns tonight at a new time of 9 p.m. (ET/PT) with its wildest episode yet as Brockton, MA, band Joy Island gets to open for platinum act LMFAO. The group offers its own greetings to the show which discovered them on YouTube: “Fuck you to the motherfucking E network TV show!"). The group is being pursued by Rock Mafia/Interscope, while their song, “24 Hour Party People,” is available on iTunes today. See the teaser below. (8/13p)
