Carly Rae Jepsen Album to Bow

CALL IT MAYBE: Carly Rae Jepsen’s debut 604 Records/Schoolboy Records/ Interscope album, Kiss, comes out Sept. 18 with label forecasts confirming pre-orders, placing it in the 75k sales range for opening week. That seems a small amount for a release that has already produced 6.7 million downloads of the hit singles “Call Me Maybe” (5.5m) and her collaboration with Owl City, “Good Time” (1.2m), both of which are included on the album. The new single, “This Kiss,” was released today. Jepsen will tour with fellow Canuck Justin Bieber this fall. (9/10p)
