iTunes Top 10s

iTUNES CHART ACTION: Lots of movement on the albums side as core fans grab yesterday’s releases. Kanye West’s Good Music Compilation (G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam/IDJ), which lost nearly a full day of availability while Yeezy reportedly did some last-minute tinkering (see item below), has climbed past P!nk’s The Truth About Love (RCA) to take the top spot, while the deluxe and standard versions of The KillersBattle Born (Island/IDJ) are sitting at #3 and #10, respectively. The deluxe of Carly Rae Jepsen’s Kiss (Schoolboy/Interscope) is #4, followed by Shields from indie darlings Grizzly Bear and the reunited Ben Folds Five’s The Sound of the Life of the Mind (Sony Legacy). Easton Corbin’s All Over the Road (Mercury Nashville) is at #9, one slot ahead of TechN9ne’s E.B.A.H. (Strange). At #7, last week’s chart-topper from the Dave Matthews Band (RCA) is the only holdover in today’s Top 10. Meanwhile, on the singles side, PSY’s “Gangnam Style” (YG/Schoolboy/Republic) hasn’t budged from the top spot, but Maroon 5’s “One More Night” (A&M/Octone) has risen to #2, passing Taylor Swift’s latest smash “We Are Never Ever Typing This Whole Title Again,” (Big Machine), with Christina Aguilera’s new “Your Body” (RCA) breathing down her neck. Fun.’s surging “Some Nights” (Fueled by Ramen), which is getting even more national exposure via the use of the hook in the trailer for Clint Eastwood’s new movie Trouble With the Chair, is #4. The next five: Alex Clare’s “Too Close” (Atlantic), Kanye, Jay-Z and Big Sean’s new “Clique” (G.O.O.D. Music/Def Jam/IDJ), Flo Rida’s “Whistle” (Atlantic), Hunter Hayes’ “Wanted” (Atlantic Nashville) and P!nk’s second single from the new album, “Try” (RCA). (9/19a)
