iHeartRadio Music Fest Starts This Weekend

WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS: It’s a weekend made for high rollers who have a taste for all sorts of pop music, from classic rock to electronic dance music, from country and pop to soul, Latin and R&B. Clear Channel’s second annual, two-day iHeartRadio Music Festival, which takes place this Friday and Saturday at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand, boasts a wildly eclectic lineup. Rihanna, No Doubt, Lil Wayne, Usher, Green Day and Swedish House Mafia are the headliners on Friday, while Saturday’s show is top-lined by Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, P!nk, Aerosmith, deadmau5, Mary J. Blige, Enrique Iglesias and Brad Paisley, among others. Ryan Seacrest will kick off the festivities as host. The festival was created last year by Clear Channel media veteran Bob Pittman and Tom Poleman to bring attention to the radio giant’s launch of its iHeartRadio app, and to strengthen ties with the music biz.
