Civil Wars strike gold

HOLLA FOR HOLLOW: There were lines around the corner at Grimey's record store in Nashville yesterday to see The Civil Wars receive their gold album plaque for Barton Hollow. Nate and Travis Yetton of sensibility did the presentation, after which Joy Williams and John Paul White signed hundreds of autographs for fans. In attendance were album producer Charlie Peacock, the band’s attorney John Strohm, CMT’s Leslie Fram and USA Today’s Brian Mansfield. During the event, store owner Mike Grimes pointed out with pride that Barton Hollow is biggest-selling album in Grimey’s history. The duo is getting started on the follow-up, with Peacock once again at the helm. (9/27a)
