Clear Channel Celebrates Halo 4

THE HALO EFFECT: Clear Channel’s iHeartRadio is marking the Nov. 6 release of the new mega-hit video game Halo 4 with today's launch of “Master Chief Radio,” an exclusive digital station featuring the songs and artists that helped inspire the fourth edition’s development team, 343 Industries, including deadmau5, Jadakiss, Beastie Boys, Eminem, Metallica and Bob Dylan, among others. The station is available through Xbox LIVE, iHeartRadio.com and all mobile apps. The Clear Channel initiative features 1,500 live broadcast and digital-only stations from 150 cities, plus user-created custom formats from a catalog of 14 million songs and 400k artists. That beats a coupla tin cans and a piece of string anyday. (10/11p)
