YOUR U.K. CHART RUNDOWN: Adele's "Skyfall" missed out on climbing to #1 on the U.K. singles chart yesterday when it was beaten by 43k units by Swedish House Mafia’s “Don’t You Worry Child.” Meanwhile, on the album side, Mumford & Sons' Babel returned to #1, moving ahead of Ellie Goulding’s Halcyon in a Top 10 featuring three albums by ELO co-founder Jeff Lynne. Swedish House Mafia’s single sold 135k copies to secure their first-ever U.K. #1 and fifth Top 10 single overall. "Skyfall" climbed #4-2 and finished with 92k, for a nine-day total of 176k since its release a week ago Friday. It shares the honor of being the highest-charting James Bond theme in the 50-year history of the franchise, matching Duran Duran's 1985 peak with "A View To A Kill." Mumford & Sons' sophomore set sold close to 159k copies two weeks ago to become the fastest-selling artist title of 2012. Its current sales total is 275k. Last week’s chart-topper, Muse's The 2nd Law fell to #3. (10/15p)
