Klavens to UMPG

UMPG GETS NEW SUIT: Kent Klavens has been named SVP Business and Legal Affairs for Universal Music Publishing Group, following a 17-year run at Famous Music. He’ll report to David Kokakis, who needs extra-large business cards to contain his title of Senior Vice President, Head of Business & Legal Affairs/Business Development, UMPG. “Kent is a consummate business and legal affairs executive,” said Kokakis in making the announcement. “We are fortunate to have someone with his breadth of experience and passion for music publishing on our team.
