UMGD, EMI Distribution Merge Set

MERGERMANIA: UMGD and EMI Music Distribution are finalizing their merger today. No names have been released, but UMGD was reportedly able to integrate over 20 positions from EMI into their system since the Oct. 1 finalization of the deal. Insiders are saying it was an incredibly efficient process, and we are told this is the end of the move. In other words, don’t expect any more layoffs to come. Stay tuned for more. (10/26p)
