COMBINATION PLATTER: Artist manager Ian Montone's Monotone, Inc. and music supe Randall Poster's Search Party Music have announced a new joint initiative, The Combination Project. Billed as a "one-stop shop for joining great music to dynamic visuals," the entity will bring Monotone's roster (including Jack White and Danger Mouse) together with Search Party's supervision, commercial and integrated-media clients. It will be overseen by Search Party Managing Director Sara Matarazzo. "Our artists have always been inspired by film and TV and have a deep respect for the creators who understand the art of great storytelling," declared Montone. Speaking of joining forces, the remaining members of the Congressional Tea Party caucus today vowed to form a human chain to block any tax increases, but were just too homophobic to link arms.
