British Chart-Toppers

ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE POND: Robbie Williams achieves a double-play this week, with his single, “Candy,” returning to #1 on the singles chart and his Universal Island album Take the Crown debuting at the top spot. It's the tenth #1 album of Williams’ solo career in which he has sold more than 15 million discs in his home country. Dutch violin maestro Andre Rieu debuts at #2 with Magic of the Movies (Decca/Universal), while pop band JLS bows at #3 with their fourth album Evolution (RCA/Sony Music Entertainment). The Military Wives, the choir that topped the chart with their In My Dreams debut set in March, returned at #5 with the sophomore album Stronger Together (Decca/Universal). Labrinth's "Beneath Your Beautiful" (Syco Music/Sony Music), featuring Emeli Sandé, dips to #2 after its chart-topping bow. The Wanted delivered a seventh top three hit in just over two years with "I Found You" (Global Talent/Universal Island) at #3. (11/12p)
