IN THE P!NK: RCA Records recording artist P!nk has announced The Hives will be the opening act for most of her upcoming Live Nation-promoted Truth About Love tour, which gets underway Feb. 13 in Phoenix, AZ, through March 28 in Boston, with stops at the L.A. Staples Center (2/16) and N.Y.’s Madison Square Garden (3/22). City and Colour, the name for indie folk-rock singer/songwriter Dallas Green, will open for the band in Charlotte (3/16), Philadelphia (3/17) and St. Paul (3/19). Tonight, P!nk performs a special benefit show for Saint John's Health Center and the John Wayne Cancer Institute's "Power of Pink" fundraising event in L.A., at the Sony Pictures Studios, hosted by Kate Beckinsale. Proceeds will go directly to the Margie Petersen Breast Center at Saint John's. P!nk will also sing her new single "Try" on the American Music Awards airing on ABC Sunday (11/18) and star in new episodes of VH1’s Behind the Music and Storytellers tomorrow night (11/13). (11/12p)
