Psy hits 800m views

TUBE TOPPER: 805 million views: That's the mind-blowing benchmark reached by PSY's "Gangnam Style" video on YouTube, making it the most-watched clip in the online video giant's history, Reuters reports. The South Korean dance-pop phenom's rambunctious creation had its YouTube debut in July. The achievement puts prior champ Justin Bieber, whose "Baby" video grabbed the same record after its bow two years ago, into second place. Of course, these two videos have another thing in common: manager Scooter Braun. Monte Lipman's Republic, meanwhile, has enjoyed monster iTunes action with "Gangnam," as some 2.5m+ in single sales have kept it pony-parading at #1. PSY's American Music Awards duet with MC Hammer has reached nearly 4.5 million views as of this writing. Also, "World's Biggest Pile of Leaves" has been watched 2,409,065 times. Spoiler alert: After filling the rental truck with garbage bags full of leaves, the two dudes totally high-five and everything. (11/24p)
