Tame Impala wins NME Album of the Year

LET THE BIG CAT EAT: Tame Impala’s Lonerism has been named NME's Album of the Year, outpointing such worthy competitors as Grammy contender Frank Ocean and Mercury Prize winner Alt-J. The Aussie band’s sophomore album also scored high in the 2012 Top 50s of Uncut (#11) and Mojo (#12), while being named Triple J's Album of the Year Down Under.
