Shimmel, Olesen out
EPIC ENDING: Two key Epic execs, COO Mark Shimmel and SVP Promotion and Strategy Erik Olesen, have exited the label due to restructuring, All Access reported this morning. Shimmel left his gig as head of music at Turner to take the Epic job, which was announced last January, while Oleson came to the label in August 2011 after 12 years at IDJ.
