3'S THE CHARM: That's manager Jared Paul with the members of new Syco/Columbia signing--and X Factor breakouts--Emblem 3. The band, consisting of teen brothers Wesley and Keaton Stromberg and their pal Drew Chadwick (who's all of 20), is currently in the studio with songwriter-producer Savan Kotecha (Maroon 5, One Direction, Usher); their debut album, due out sometime this year, will feature material co-penned by an array of top tunesmiths, including Jack Antonoff, Benji and Joel Madden, Carl Falk and Rami Yacoub and Peter Svensson. The trio hail from Sequim, WA, but have lately been based in the far more temperate Huntington Beach. "Wesley, Drew and Keaton are complete stars," declared Syco's Simon Cowell. "They have a great attitude, are fun and genuinely love music. They deserve this and I'm really pleased we are continuing working together. Now if you'll excuse me, I must call the authorities--three former X Factor judges are lurking in the shrubbery again." (1/9p)
