Rock Hall Presenters, Etc.

HELLO, CLEVELAND: Dave Grohl and fellow Foo Fighter Taylor Hawkins will induct Canuck prog-rock luminaries Rush into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during that institution's 28th Annual Induction Ceremony on April 18, it was announced today; a litany of other stars will do the same for their idols at L.A.'s Nokia Theatre L.A. Live. Don Henley will induct songwriter-composer supreme Randy Newman; Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Hudson will perform in honor of posthumous inductee and chart-topping diva Donna Summer; and John Mayer and Gary Clark, Jr. will bend their strings for blues icon Albert King. Other inductees include Heart, Public Enemy, Lou Adler and Quincy Jones, and more performers, presenters and guests will be announced later. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster, and AmEx members can jump to the head of the line with advance tix starting tomorrow at 10AM PST. Reports that The Shaggs plan to bum-rush the event to protest their exclusion couldn't be confirmed at presstime. (1/23p)
