Leslie Frankenheimer, R.I.P.
A LOVING FAREWELL: Our sincere condolences to Loeb & Loeb Partner and Chairman Emeritus John Frankenheimer and his family on the passing of his wife, Leslie, after a long struggle with leukemia. Leslie was a highly respected, multiple-Emmy-winning set decorator who worked on a wide range of films and TV series and served on the Primetime Emmy Awards Governors Ball committee, among other TV Academy groups. She's survived by her husband and their children, Erin and Sean. A visitation and rosary will take place at Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Mortuary from 4-7pm on Sat., Jan. 26; a memorial is scheduled for the following day at 4pm. "Leslie's Going Away Party/Wake," meanwhile, will take place from 6-8:30pm on Sunday at the W Hotel's Whiskey Blue. “When Leslie embraced you as a friend — well, it was a life sentence," her fellow Academy committee member Russ Patrick recalled to Emmy magazine. "Even after surviving a harrowing health scare three years ago, she always wanted to know how you were, before she’d entertain questions about her own health."
