WEAKEND BOX OFFICE: Summit Entertainment knows what girls like, The company, which has had such great success with the Twilight series, courted those younger females looking for an alternative to the Super Bowl, pulled off a $20 million opening with the “rom-zom-com” Warm Bodies on this traditionally slow weekend. Last week's #1, Paramount's Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters, dropped just one slot on $9.2 million. The Oscar-nominated Silver Linings Playbook ($8.1m) and Zero Dark Thirty ($5.3m) continued to draw crowds, finishing at #3 and #5, respectively, with Mama ($6.7m) between them. (2/4a)
