Come on, Get Volkswagen Ad

COME ON, GET VOLKSWAGEN: Here’s the controversial Rasta-flavored Volkswagen ad featuring Jimmy Cliff’s cover of the Partrige Family theme song, “Come on, Get Happy,” which was just released as a single by UMe this morning. Critics have been attacking the spot’s use of a white guy from Minnesota touting his home state, “the land of ten tousand lakes, mon,” with a thick Jamaican patois as racist. See what you think.
