Weatherly re-ups at CBS

ALWAYS TAKE THE WEATHERLY WITH YOU: Inside Radio reports that Kevin Weatherly has re-upped as SVP at CBS Radio and programming boss at its L.A. stations--notably PoMo flagship KROQ, to which he first hitched his wagon in 1992. Under the terms of the multi-year deal, he'll also help develop new formats for CBS in other markets. "It goes without saying that he is one of the most influential and respected programmers in the industry today," reads a quote from CBS Radio president Dan Mason."Kevin has guided virtually every station he has worked with to winning levels because of his instinct and willingness to take risks.
