HIDE THE PUBLICIST: Who says MIDEM is all work and no play? Certainly not the fine folks at Fintage House/ FUGA whose shindig at the Villa Mystique featured performances by Truth Hurts, KOF, the Hipnotik Orchestra and DJ Local, with a DJ set by Kraak and Smaak. A fine time was had by all, until the following discovered it was PR whiz Larry Solters to blame for this placement on hitsdailydouble.com, where they will never be heard from again (l-r): Vivogig President/Co-Founder Raymond McGlamery and Fintage House’s Marian O’Hanlon, Co-CEO Niels Teves and Head of Client Relations Music Publishing Mandy Aubry, none of whom had ever heard of him or the website. The global rights, music publishing and digital collection agency represents current Grammy winners Kelly Clarkson, The Black Keys, Jay Z & Kanye West, Carrie Underwood, Mumford & Sons, Skrillex, Paul McCartney, Rihanna and Taylor Swift.
