MORE TWANG FOR YOUR BUCK: Yeeeeeee-haw! Eeee-doggies! Hooo-weee--what's that? Oh, yeah, I had the grande triple-soy half-caf chai latte with a shot of vanilla. Anyhoo, it's time to highlight just a few of the noms for the 48th annual Academy of Country Music Awards. So, let's git 'er done: Eric Church leads the pack with seven nods, including Male Vocalist, Album, Video and Single of the Year. Hunter Hayes nabbed six, including New Male Vocalist and Video; Miranda Lambert and Taylor Swift each earned five (both are once more in the running for Entertainer of the Year, a title Swift defends from last year). Co-host Luke Bryan got four (including Entertainer) as did Kacey Musgraves and Little Big Town. Jason Aldean and the show's other host, Blake Shelton, have three noms apiece (both are vying for Entertainer and Male Vocalist), as did Eli Young Band and Florida Georgia Line (who are up for New Artist of the Year). Fans will select the Entertainer of the Year and New Artist of the Year by casting their votes at GACtv.com. The ACM Awards ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS from the very seat of traditional country values, Las Vegas, on Sunday, April 7. A complete list of nominees can be found here. (2/13p)
