Jampol exhumes Tupac

JAM-'PAC-ED: Jampol Artist Management, Inc. (JAM), has inked a deal with the estate of late rapper-actor Tupac Shakur to manage his catalog, image, likeness and story. Shakur has sold nearly 100 million records worldwide, and remains a top seller and major hip-hop influence 17 years after his death. JAM also manages the surviving members of The Doors and the estates of Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Otis Redding, Henry Mancini, Rick James and Peter Tosh, and consults the estate of Michael Jackson. JAM CEO Jeff Jampol appeared as a hologram in our office to deliver today's news. (2/14p)
