Alliance/DIY

DIY I OUGHTA: Mike Davis' Alliance Entertainment is quietly having a nice run with projects ranging from Metallica's latest DVD and the Grammy-winning Big Easy Express documentary to singer-songwriter and Twitter/Kickstarter champ Amanda Palmer's media and apparel, indie darling Nick Cave's new, critically adored album (on Kobalt) and the Snoop Lion DVD, Reincarnated. But Alliance isn't limited to media; true to the DIY concept, they've picked up Diystro, Odd Future's apparel division. Oh, that reminds us: We need a piece count on those Mark Pearson bobbleheads.
