Details of Concord Sale

LEAR’S HAUL: Yesterday’s sale of Concord Music Group to New Haven investment firm Wood Creek Capital Management (see below) has been reported to carry a price tag of $115-120 million. Norman Lear’s Village Roadshow Entertainment Group sold the company to concentrate of its film production. Wood Creek CEO Brett Hellerman insists his company will work with the current management staff, including President/CEO Glen Barros to grow the music group and sign new artists. Reed Smith and MESA represented Wood Creek in the transaction, while Lathan & Watkins and Raine Group handled the deal from Concord’s end. (3/26a)
