IB tease: Rihanna

THE WORLD IS HER OYSTER: In his latest column, posting tomorrow morning, HITS’ industry insider I.B. Bad reveals that Rihanna is massively successful internationally, selling as many records in the U.K. as she does in the U.S., despite the fact that Britain is one-fifth the size of the States, as well as a ton of concert tickets. The 170k tickets sold for her 10-show run at London’s O2 Arena in December 2011 broke the venue’s attendance record, grossing north of $12m. (4/11a)
