New PSY video premieres, breaks record

THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING: The video for PSY’s "Gentleman" set a new YouTube record for most views in a day after making its worldwide debut on Saturday. The follow-up to "Gangnam Style" amassed a mind-blowing 22 million-plus views in less than 24 hours, immediately becoming a massive viral hit in its own right. The clip is now at 58 million views and counting. In tandem with the video's debut, the track (released by Schoolboy/Republic) went live on iTunes around the globe, instantly shooting to #1 in two dozen territories; it’s presently #18 and climbing in the U.S. Could lightning strike twice for the South Korean pop-culture sensation?
