MTV Movie Awards Ratings
MTV RATINGS SURGE: Best Actress winner Jennifer Lawrence may have been a no-show and Parks and Recreation’s Aubrey Plaza booted off, but the 2013 MTV Movie Awards proved a ratings boon, with 3.8 million total viewers and a 3.4 rating, both up from last year. The awards show, hosted by Pitch Perfect’s Rebel Wilson, was up 21% in the 12-34 demo, 45% among adults 18-34 and 44% in adults 18-49 from last year’s show, which pulled in 3.2 million viewers with a 2.8 rating. The results in the 12-34 demo last year were down 28% from the 2011 show. (4/15p)
