A SLIGHT ADJUSTMENT: Friday headliners Blur and the Stone Roses will swap places for the second weekend of Coachella, after the latter band’s closing set on the main stage last weekend inspired a mass exodus. Playing in the second slot, Blur turned in what the L.A. Times’ Mikael Wood described as a “smart, wide-ranging set” that was extremely well-received by the crowd. According to official set times posted on the Coachella website, the Stone Roses are now scheduled to play Friday at 9:55 p.m., followed by Blur at 11:35 p.m. A rep for Goldenvoice had no comment to Wood’s inquiry regarding the switch. In another change, Biffy Clyro won’t return this weekend, because frontman Simon Neil "has been struggling with a serious respiratory problem," according to a statement issued Wednesday by Warner Bros. Records. Consequently, the band has canceled the remainder of its North American tour and will return home to Scotland after Neil was "advised by doctors that he was endangering his long-term health if he chose to continue performing on this run."
