ANYONE FOR TEA? As promised, here’s our inaugural weekly marketshare chart with TEA. With track sales added to overall percentages, Atlantic slips past Republic—which was #1 in new-release share (see 4/18 item)—to win the week’s competition. Comparing the two charts, IGA registers the most significant upshift, with 3.9% in new-release share but 6.1% with TEA—pulling it off with only one Top 10 single in Imagine Dragons’ “Radioactive” (#9, with 124k). RCA, which is #3 on both charts, is the only label with two Top 10 tracks: #1 P!nk’s #1 “Just Give Me a Reason” (283k) and Justin Timberlake’s “Mirrors” (127k).
Atlantic 8.8%
Republic 8.7%
RCA 7.4%
Interscope Geffen A&M 6.1%
Columbia 5.8%
Warner Bros. 5.4%
Capitol Music Group 4.9%
