Depeche at Troub in KROQ exclusive
ROQ OF THE ’80S REDUX: KROQ often uses the Troubadour to showcase for up-and-coming local bands, but this Friday, the station will take over the venerable Santa Monica Blvd. venue to present an exclusive Depeche Mode show. That's right, boys and girls—just as the band's third Staples Center date is announced, they're also playing the small club, with KROQ giving away all of the tickets. The programming department is being bombarded with requests from their nearest and dearest industry friends (though not Ivana, who provided us with this info; she says she’ll be rearranging her sock drawer that night), so don't be surprised if the station phones are preemptively unplugged within the next day or two.
