Daft Punk Goes to Radio

PUNK UP THE VOLUME: Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” is proving a multi-format blockbuster, having gone straight to #1 on the U.K. singles chart and at Radio 1, as well as debuting on three separate U.S. radio formats, Pop, Rhythm and Alternative, also scoring adds at Hot AC and Triple A. Columbia has orchestrated a brilliant set-up for the release of the Random Access Memories album on May 21. Nice work by the label’s Joel Klaiman and Scott Greer on the roll-out. (4/29a)
