AVRIL IN MAY: Epic's Avril Lavigne shouts out to her "Sk8tr Boi" past in this raucous, prom-themed video for "Here's to Never Growing Up," which bowed on VEVO early this morning. Sales on the song--which will appear on a new Lavigne full-length slated for the fall--have been trending upward since its debut less than a month ago, and it's Top 20 at Pop. It's also having a helluva ride internationally, having debuted at #1 in 22 countries and top 10 in 44. She'll perform the song live at KISS-FM's Wango Tango in L.A. on 5/11, and on such fine television programs as Dancing With the Stars (5/14), Access Hollywood Live (5/15) and The Today Show (5/17), where she'll presumably offer a "clean" version rather than the explicit one posted here. The multiplatinum popster co-wrote the mega-catchy tune with her fiance, Chad Kroeger (who has a little side project called Nickelback), Dave Hodges, producer Martin Johnson and indie hip-hopper J. Kash. And yes, you'll see the singer and several "bois" rolling down the halls on their decks. Kudos to the label's Scott Seviour and his team. We're just wondering what Radiohead song these kids are singing at the tops of their lungs, as the hook lyric has it. Something from The Bends, maybe? (5/9p)
