CeeLo Green Inks TBS TV Deal

CEE LO GETS A LIFE: Primary Wave Chief Creative Officer and The Voice coach Cee Lo Green will star in a TBS reality show tentatively titled The Cee Lo Life. The network has ordered six episodes of the unscripted series, which will follow Cee Lo as he tackles not only a packed schedule of producing, recording and performing, but also a creative partnership with his longtime best friends—Big Gipp, Khujo and T-Mo—as they prepare to bring their legendary hip-hop group Goodie Mob back to the world stage. The show is set to premiere sometime next year. Cee Lo will executive produce along with Primary Wave’s Larry Mestel, Emerald TV’s Andrew Jameson (Living Lohan) and Rogue Atlas’ Eli Frankel (Family Trade). The reunited Goodie Mob’s fifth album, Age Against the Machine, comes out Aug. 27. Cee Lo recently completed a run of performances in the musical spectacular Loberace at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. He's also putting the finishing touches on his fourth album, which is slated for release later this year, and will be seen in the movie Can a Song Save Your Life?, starring Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo and Catherine Keener.
